Navy spends £200k moving buttons

Breaking news: it’s basically World War Three and the smallest finest navy in the world - the Royal Navy - is investing £200k in moving buttons a few centimetres down because of their inappropriate position over the wearer’s breasts.

The buttons have held firm for approximately 70 years, but we’re all relieved that this has finally been rectified.

This is the kind of stuff that gets people through the door.

The Paras have actually jumped on a mission for the first time in about 50 years. Troops landed on the remote island of Tristan da Cunha to assist a British national with suspected hantavirus.

Operation Chastise was an operation undertaken by 617 Squadron RAF Bomber Command, during the night of the 16th May 1943.

Seen as an opportunity to destroy critical national infrastructure, the RAF undertook the daring mission using specially designed bouncing bombs. The Möhne and Edersee dams were breached, causing catastrophic flooding of the Ruhr valley.
