NATO Summit Carnage

To piece together the main agenda from the US contingent at NATO, we need look no further than the coherent messages coming from their esteemed leader.

“I love Oklahoma” - a reference to their support for him for something or other.

“Spain are a wasted cause [and] terrible NATO partner” - he hates chorizo

“It’s not very important for Denmark” - in reference to Greenland, the Danish territory

"I don't want to deal with them anymore, they're scum. They're sick people, they're led by sick people" - in reference to Iran

“There was a lot of love in that room, a lot of unity” - in reference to all the love amongst NATO nations

The US spent the night undertaking a sustained bombing campaign in Iran, who accused the US of attacking one of their nuclear plants.

All in all - great success.

Every effort was being made to stop old man Trump from doing something mental unpredictable at this year’s NATO summit. The latest appeasement campaign by Starmer: committing £37bn to a pan-European precision strike programme, led by the UK.

I love long range missiles as much as the next man - so any investment is a good investment in my (really well researched) book.

Four new vessels are inbound for the most Royal of Navies. The Amphibious Transport Ships will be built in UK to Dutch designs and be capable of transporting all sorts of excitements in their bellies.

No date on their delivery - likely in about 75 years when we’re all living on Mars.

Fought between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, it became the largest tank battle in history, involving around 6,000 tanks and 2 million personnel.

The German offensive ultimately failed, handing the strategic initiative on the Eastern Front permanently to the Soviets. Although the war still had a few years to run, Kursk was pivotal moment from which Germany never fully recovered.
